Our sliding gate lock employs piezoelectric technology. Its main characteristic is the ultra low power consumption, down to only a fraction of that required by other electrically operated locking systems. This characteristic allows employing unconventional power sources. If, for instance, solar power is used an indoor short period lighting is all what is required.
The lock withstands hundreds of kilos and can be resized for either higher or lower forces.

Remotely activated slam action gate/door lock works independently from any conventional power source with no need for wiring and as such, it can be mounted everywhere.
It operates on only 0.4mW.
With few moving components, this 80mmx80mmx50mm lock easily withholds a few hundred kilograms, and it can be redesigned/resized for either higher or lower levels. The technology should serve as a solid base to allow a fast development and implementation of related models and applications.
The system is 100% eco friendly and has a virtually unlimited life span.
